Scholarships

The Fairfield County Foundation currently offers more than 85 scholarship opportunities, the majority of which can be applied for using ONE EASY APPLICATION. Over the past 5 years, we have provided 1,818 scholarship opportunities and awarded more than $3.2 million in scholarship funds!

The Fairfield County Foundation scholarship application is closed for the 2018-2019 school year. The deadline was Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. and any submissions or updates after this time will make your application incomplete/ineligible for consideration. Applications are now being reviewed and applicants should check their online portal for status updates. Recipients will be notified via email for online applications and via mail for paper applications once decisions are final. All applicants should be notified by the end of May. Students may submit an application for the 2019-2020 school year once the application opens even if they were not selected or ineligible for this year. Check back in the fall of 2018 for the opening date and deadlines.

When viewing your online status, you may see a few different categories:

Incomplete: Your application did not have all the required documents to be complete and will not be considered for scholarships. Required documents include official transcript uploaded, two letters of reference submitted, a SAR from the 2018-2019 FAFSA and a cost of attendance from the school you will be attending.

Not Qualified: You did not meet the criteria for this scholarship.

Reviewed Not Selected: Your application has been reviewed for the scholarship and was not selected.
