The Fairfield County Foundation currently offers more than 85 scholarship opportunities, the majority of which can be applied for using ONE EASY APPLICATION. Over the past 5 years, we have provided 1,818 scholarship opportunities and awarded more than $3.2 million in scholarship funds!

Please visit the applications tab to review our six scholarships that require paper applications. These scholarships are not included in the online application and must be applied for separately. Each application includes individual instructions and deadlines to apply. Included are the Edward N. Sands Scholarship, Shelly Strigle Memorial Scholarship, Donald I. Rodenbaugh Engineering Scholarship, Trever & Violet Jones Memorial Scholarship, Tyler C. Sharpe Memorial Scholarship and Andrew “Drew” Townsend-Engle Memorial Scholarship.

The Fairfield County Foundation scholarship application is closed for the 2019-2020 school year. The deadline was Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. and late submissions or changes will not be accepted. Applications are now being reviewed and applicants should check their online portal for status updates. Recipients will be notified via email for online applications and via mail for paper applications once decisions are final. All applicants should be notified by the end of May. Students may submit an application for the 2020-2021 school year once the application opens even if they were not selected or ineligible for this year. The application for the 2020-2021 school year will tentatively open in December of 2019, please check back closer for exact dates.

When viewing your online status, you may see a few different categories:

Incomplete: Your application did not have all the required documents to be complete and will not be considered for scholarships. Required documents include an official transcript uploaded, two letters of reference submitted, a SAR from the FAFSA and a cost of attendance from the school you will be attending.

Not Qualified: You did not meet the criteria for this specific scholarship.

Reviewed Not Selected: Your application has been reviewed for the scholarship and was not selected.
