Scholarship Calendar 

October 1, 2025 - FAFSA opens (required for scholarship application).

December 1, 2025 - Scholarship applications for 2026-2027 academic year opens! CLICK HERE to access the scholarship application portal and check the status of your application.

February 9, 2026 - Preliminary Scholarship Application Review Deadline (see FAQs for details).

March 6, 2026 - Deadline for 2026-2027 academic year scholarship application.

April-June 2026 - Applications reviewed and award emails sent to selected recipients. Online applicants may also check their online portal for decisions on each scholarship. A follow up form will need to be completed to accept.

June 2026 - Follow up forms online or paper Scholarship Instructions and Contracts must be returned by this deadline or full scholarships may be forfeited.

May-June 2026 - Recipients of 2025-2026 scholarships should submit their final grades from fall and spring semester to Abby King in order to be eligible for future scholarships from the Fairfield County Foundation. This document does not need to be an official transcript.

August 2026- All payments for scholarships awarded for 2026-2027 academic year mailed directly to recipients’ school if contract was received by our Foundation (except Sands recipients).
